Sensia Studio & Japanese Day Spa

GRC A&I was asked to give a complete makeover to Sensia Studio based around their existing reception furniture. For the design to be successful the salon needed to feel larger and invoke serenity in spite of the physical space constraints.

Back-painted glass and wood cabinetry matching the furniture's fabric was used at the reception, grey wood floors were used throughout. Custom credenzas finished in arctic white Corian were placed in the storefront windows across from the matching reception counter. 3Form panels were installed between stations screening one from the other, while floating 1/2" glass shelves were mounted on white Venetian plaster walls showcasing merchandise. To complete the space, white leather chairs were placed at each station and a soft white pendant light was located at the end of the reception counter.
